Black Sheep Don’t Lie: On Identity and Politics

This course invites (primarily, but not limited to) artists to confront and reimagine the social, cultural, and political frameworks that shape identity. Through performance-based practices, critical discussions, and embodied experimentation, participants explore how the personal becomes political — and how the “black sheep” can become a site of resistance, agency, and radical honesty. We challenge inherited narratives, question systems of visibility and power, and use the body as both subject and tool for artistic interrogation.
